Luftmeister – wins

Every 2 years The Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Environment, Climate Protection and the Energy Sector awards the Baden-Württemberg Environmental Technology Prize.

The prize is awarded to outstanding and innovative environmental technology products and procedures due to be launched imminently to market or which have been in the market for less than 2 years.

The start-up company Luftmeister GmbH from Kirchzarten won the 2019 Baden-Württemberg Environmental Technology Prize in the “Measuring and Control Technology, Industry 4.0” category. Using the Luftmeister the company was able for the first time to measure continuous energy flow and consumption in air ducts. In contrast to previously available measuring technology, Luftmeister is equipped with sensors which take the entire asymmetrical flow profile into account. As the very first air energy meter it also has the ability to determine precise flows in process air ducts in sinuous cable routing.

The company Luftmeister has succeeded in bringing a unique and innovative product to market which has outstanding technical capacities and is able to communicate these through a precise, simple and user-friendly design. WhiteID is very proud to have contributed to this project for sustainability and energy efficiency in buildings and to clarity as regards interaction and intrinsic value. We look forward to the continued collaboration.
